We’re happy to present a new idea for our SEO Ideas tool: ‘Readability’. It will allow you to figure out how difficult your online text is to read.
There's a great deal of information on the Web. Some long and information-intensive content can make users stop reading and click away from a page that you'd like to promote in search results. This leads to a higher bounce rate, which will negatively affect your SEO.
The ‘Improve Your Content’s Readability’ idea will let you know when you need to make changes to your content in order to make it more enjoyable to read. We use the Flesch-Kincaid readability score to determine the readability of your text-based content.
You can find the new idea displayed in the ‘Content’ section.
You can also see a detailed report by clicking on the ‘See detailed analysis’ button.
The provided data is obtained through analysis of Google's top 10 search results.
We'd really like to receive your feedback and suggestions regarding this update. Share your ideas with us at seo-ideas-feedback@semrush.com.
